Complex technological solutions require exceptional talents.
Rakettitiede (translation: rocket science) is a Helsinki-based software development and consulting company employing the top talents and serving their clients with zero bs or hustle. We decided to challenge typical tech company visuals that mystify coders, and present Rakettitiede and its developers with bold candour, stripped of unnecessary noise.

Brand Strategy &#38;amp; Visual Identity


In Search of Maximum Relaxation
Narvi is a Finnish sauna heater brand with a long heritage. Ellun Kanat was asked to renew Narvi’s brand identity to resonate better with the growing national and international market. We created a brand that has the sauna experience and the sensation on relaxation in it’s core. 

The new understated, yet confident, visual identity focuses on making the sauna experience visible and desirable in contemporary ways as well as the showing Narvi’s love for the craft of heater making.

Big Bang on a Small Buck


In 2023 at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, Käärijä, Finland's representative, won the audience's vote but came second to Sweden's Loreen, creating a media sensation. Drawing inspiration from Käärijä's iconic neon green latex bolero and the well-known sauna truck that accompanied him to Liverpool, Ellun Kanat teamed up with emerging designer Leevi Ikäheimo to craft a sauna-themed neon green bathrobe bolero for the artist. 
In just days, the design was brought to life and delivered, leading to a viral Instagram post just before the final. The post garnered thousands of comments and likes, making a small Finnish brand the European center of attention – all with a minimal budget and tight timing. In PR and creative marketing, small actions can yield big results.

In a dialogue with AI, Ellun Kanat created the visual identity for creative design competition Vuoden Huiput. All features, such as grid, text, recognisability and the generativity of the animation style were inspired by the attributes of the used AI tools. As the outcome is coherently surreal, the discussion between artificial and general visual worlds becomes exploratively poetic.&#38;nbsp;
